2026 RECURRING EVENTS

~ 50th Anniversary ~

 

Square Dancing meets most Friday evenings in the Barberville Central High School on the Settlement campus. Hosted in the auditorium by the Wrangler Country Squares.  Beginner classes 6:30 — 7:30 pm Club dance - Square, Round, & Line Dancing 7:30 — 9:30 pm $5 per person / Free Refreshments. Non-dancing visitors are always welcome at no charge.

 

Play in the Clay Pottery Workshop meets most summer Saturdays 10 am — 12 pm in the Barberville Pottery Studio on the Settlement campus. Makers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to stop by and play in the clay!

 

FABA (Florida Artist Blacksmith Association) local chapter meets the 1st Saturday of most months around 9 am at the Hollenback & Sons Blacksmith shop on the Settlement Campus. Visitors are welcome to observe, must become a FABA member to participate. Blacksmithing lessons and coal sales are also offered on a regular basis.

 

Schoolhouse Fiber Guild meets the 3rd Saturday of every month at 1 pm in the Barberville Central High School on the Settlement campus. Learn more on the SFG Facebook page. All fiber artists — any level and medium — are invited to join. 

 

Crankin' A's Ford Model A Restoration Club meets every 4th Saturday of the month for club meetings and every Tinker Tuesday at Herman's Garage on the Settlement campus. Meetings are members only. Visit this link with inquiries about joining. https://www.crankinasfl.com/contact-us

 

Fourth Saturday Music Workshops: AUGUST - APRIL ONLY

Free Music Lessons and Jam sessions every 4th Saturday at 10 am — 4 pm with membership or paid admission. Follow the Settlement Facebook page for updates. Class schedules may vary each month depending on the volunteer teachers.
