Hours and Accessibility

​Please plan to arrive 1.5 - 2 hours prior to closing to give yourself enough time on campus.

Closed Holidays - New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day.

SUMMERTIME HOURS: Tuesday-Saturday 9 am — 4 pm; Sunday-Monday — closed

 

SCHOOL YEAR HOURS: Monday-Saturday 9 am — 4 pm; Sunday Noon — 4pm

 

Only Service Animals are permitted on the Barberville campus; Firearms are prohibited.​

​

The Central Barberville Schoolhouse Museum and the Astor Bridge Tender’s House are the main climate-controlled buildings. There are many shade trees, benches, and picnic tables around the grounds. 

​

Most buildings are ADA accessible.

Docent Guided Tours

Reservation and 50% deposit due one week in advance; minimum of 5 people required.
