Playing on the Porches
Enjoy the melodious acoustic tunes as you tour the property!
Join us as we welcome several local musical groups to play on the porches throughout the Settlement grounds. Social distancing rules will be adhered by.
As part of our effort to provide a safe and healthy environment, to keep our staff, volunteers and visitors protected while they are working or visiting our facility, we are following strict guidelines from the CDC and state authorities.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS and OPENING GUIDELINES:
There is limited, controlled and guided access to our buildings. Access to small buildings will not be allowed however, the building’s interiors may be viewed from porches, doors and windows. Access to larger buildings may be limited or restricted.
Masks or face coverings are highly recommended and are required to visit inside any buildings. Masks are available for purchase at our reception area.
Six foot social distancing guidelines are to be followed. Visitors in family groups must maintain a minimum of six feet distance from other visitors.
We ask staff and guests to avoid visiting when sick or showing signs of illness. Visitors and staff will have the opportunity to have their forehead temperatures checked with a non-touch digital thermometer upon arrival.
We have added additional hand-washing stations throughout the grounds. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is also available at our reception and other areas for guests and staff.
A plexiglass barrier has been installed in our reception area to protect guests and staff.
The Barberville Central Schoolhouse will be open with one-way traffic. The entrance is at the boy’s restroom side and exit is at the girl’s restroom side. Please follow all directional signs.
Restroom access is limited to one individual at a time or one adult with one child.
Volunteers and staff are monitoring visitors as well as sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces that people touch frequently.

subject to change at any time and at the discretion of the administration
of the Barberville Pioneer Settlement.
