Make this a Christmas Remembered...

Your family will want to make this old fashioned Christmas event an annual tradition.

The Barberville Pioneer Settlement’s “A Florida Christmas Remembered” is set to take place on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9am to 4pm.

This fun event is for the kid in all of us, featuring appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, children’s make and take crafts, live music, living history demonstrations, food and more.

Throughout the morning enjoy the pleasing melodies of Christmas carolers as they stroll the grounds. In the afternoon the historical Midway Methodist Church provides the perfect nostalgic setting for performances by the Community Presbyterian Church Handbell Choir from Celebration, FL at 1pm and 2pm and the Picky Chics & Chaps Dulcimer Concert at 3pm.

The Somethin' Else Folk Band will be performing also in the Historic Barberville Central High School's Auditorium.

The Settlement Elves will be hosting free cookie decorating and a woodshop craft as well as a craft sponsored by the Pioneer Settlement’s Fiber Arts Guild will be provided at no extra charge. At the Christmas Craft Barn your children will have the opportunity to participate in making several additional crafts all for just $5!

Adult admission is $8 for non-member adults, $7 for seniors and veterans and free for members. Admission for this event is free for children ages 12 and under with a paying adult. Barberville Pioneer Settlement annual memberships include free admission to most events and are available for $30 for an individual, $40 for a couple, a family membership is just $50.
