43rd Annual Fall Country Jamboree November 2nd and 3rd, 2019

Presenting one of the area's most unique cultural events, our 43rd Annual Fall Country Jamboree!​ The Annual Fall Country Jamboree is one of the longest running events in Volusia County. This event features examples of pioneer living that included blacksmith demonstrations, cane grinding, a boil, spinning, weaving, wood working, and many more historical demonstrations. ​ Follow this Link for a schedule of Musicians that will be performing at the event! Saturday 9/21 Knife Crafting Class with Jordan Borstelmann from Master of Arms

Fans of the Discovery Channel Series "Master of Arms" will be excited for the opportunity to attend this basic blacksmith knife making class with Jordan Borstelmann. The class takes place from 10 AM- 4 PM On Saturday, September 21st. For $185, you will get 6 hours of hands-on instruction from an expert in the field. Gas forges will be used. What a Fun Day! ​ Saturday September 14th, A plethora of diverse offerings and free admission, Gates open 9am - 4pm. - Chili Cook Off, Ice Cream Churn Off, Living History Demonstrations, Community Yard Sale and more! ​ We are once again celebrating the end of summer with the coolest, hottest event ever – Fire & Ice. For just $5, participants can cool their tongues with homemade ice cream after voting for their favorite chili. The Chili Cook Off & Ice Cream Churn Off -- Tasting begins at 11:30am. "Forged in Fire" Champion to Demonstrate at the Settlement on September 7th

We have exciting news for fans of the History channel's "Forged in Fire" series. On September 7th, Keith Hill, expert blade smith and winner of the History Channels shows Forged in Fire (First place, October 2016) and 2 time champion of the spin-off series "Knife or Death" will be demonstrating here at the settlement from 9 am- 3 pm. Attendees need only pay the regular admission fee ($8 general, $7 senior/veteran) Settlement members and Florida Artist Blacksmith Association (FABA) members will be able to attend the event for free.
