The Golden Teacup Society to present workshops at Second Saturday

The Barberville Pioneer Settlement is excited to once again welcome to our campus The Golden Teacup Society’s 17th Annual Ladies Encampment. The public is invited to participate or observe as living historical reenactors from throughout Central Florida gather at the Barberville Pioneer Settlement for the weekend to share, learn and preserve the traditions and ways of civilian women and their families during the Civil War period of 1860-1865. Tracks of workshops and lectures will be offered for both the beginner and seasoned reenactors. For those that want to explore the idea of reenacting, a special track is being offered on Saturday.
